The armor stand is a helpful utility block added in the 1.6.4 version of the mod.
Usage & Mechanics[]
when right-clicked one of two things will happen:
1. if you are holding an equipment item, it will appear on the armor stand
2. if you are not holding an equipable item your current armor will be traded with the armor stand's current armor.
the armor stand can equip items from other mods, as long as they go in the helmet, chestplate, leggings, or boots, slots.

Obtaining an armor stand[]

armor stands can be found very rarely wearing various items inside of dungeons, but can also be crafted using the recipe depicted below.
as a dropped item the armor stand looks almost identical to it's placed form, only shorter
The armor stand looks mildly strange in the player's inventory
